My first pre-production cover!
I'm really pleased with my first cover. It looks simple and sophisticated, something you would find in a private dentist's practice! ;)
The puffs don't overshadow the main image too much and instead fill up empty space with appealing snippets of what features in the magazine. The headline has the words 'new' in bold emphasising both the fact the model is new, the year is new and the magazine is new, which ties in with the title 'comtemporary'. The target audience is mainlly female but has some male audiences. All the puffs mainly attract women but some could also attract men and will therefore attract them just as much as women. However the competition to win Westlife tickets is appealing more to women as Westlife's target audience is similar to that of my magazine. Also the cover star, "Reece Smith the model" appeals more to females due to the advertisements he's famous for. The sub headline has words in bold them emphasise the most important words 'ambitions', 'those' and 'on the market' have indivdual affects all of which attract a broad range of people.
